"Released in 2003, ‘The Matrix Reloaded,’ written and directed by The Wachowskis, saw the return of freedom fighters Neo, Trinity and Morpheus as they continue to lead the revolt against the Machine Army, unleashing their arsenal of extraordinary skills and weaponry against the systematic forces of repression and exploitation. The album itself is a collection of both the film's songs and the score, 12 being film songs and the other 7 being the score. The album contains the films lead single; "Sleeping Awake" by P.O.D, in which lyrics refer to elements of the film. It also contains tracks from the original score of the film composed by Don Davis, Juno Reactor and Rob Dougan."
