"Originally released in 1988, Danzig I stands as one of the most ferocious and captivating albums in hard rock history, blending Glenn Danzig's soulful, baritone vocals with bone-crushing riffs and dark, brooding atmosphere. The record spans ten tracks of pure intensity, opening with the menacing Twist Of Cain and the brooding Not Of This World before building to the iconic She Rides and the fan-favorite Am I Demon. Side B delivers one of rock's most enduring anthems in Mother, alongside deep cuts like Possession, End Of Time, and Evil Thing that showcase the band's raw, unrelenting energy. Danzig I is more than an album, it is a landmark recording that defined an era and continues to captivate listeners decades later."
