All hailing from different \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ecorners of LA, these longtime musician friends came together in 2019 as a solution \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eto a recurring dilemma: good bassists are hard to find. What was originally meant \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eto be a one-off for the underground series BackbeatLA turned into a regular thing, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eand soon the trio was in the studio recording what would become their debut album. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHUMAN ERROR CLUB AT KENNY'S HOUSE, the group's first release on \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBackwoodz Studioz, is their first album since 2022. The project emerged from \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ethree recording sessions that took place at LA producer Kenny Segal's home studio \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ebetween 2021 and 2024. Segal, an underground hip-hop mainstay, opened not just \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ehis space but his full arsenal of gear and toys. The sessions were pure improvisation, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ethe trio's defining compositional approach. Out of this comes a project grounded in \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eexploration and bound by trust, mutual respect, and a shared musical vocabulary.
